WhatsApp calling · AI voice agent
Every WhatsApp call answered — by an AI agent that books the appointment
Customers already tap "call" on your WhatsApp number. Trafficaro's voice agent picks up in Hindi or English, answers questions about your business, offers real free times, books the slot and texts the confirmation in the same chat. These are WhatsApp calls over the internet, not calls on the phone network.

What the voice agent does on a call
Answers like your front desk
Greets the caller with your business name and answers from what you have told it: services, timings, location, prices.
Qualifies the caller
Asks your qualifying questions — budget, area, service needed — and saves the answers on the contact.
Books real slots
Offers only times that are actually free in your calendar and books the one the caller chooses. It cannot invent a time.
Texts the confirmation
The confirmation, address or link arrives as a WhatsApp message in the same chat right after the call.
Hands over when it should
If the caller wants a person, it records a callback request and alerts your team.
Leaves a record
Every call appears in the inbox with its length, outcome and transcript; missed calls get an automatic WhatsApp message.
Pricing for AI calls
Calls customers make to your business number are free at Meta. Trafficaro charges for the AI's talk time, per started minute, from your credits.
| Voice | Per minute | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Trafficaro voice (Hindi + English pairs) | ₹1 | Most businesses; natural Indian voices |
| Sarvam voice | ₹2.50 | Sarvam's Indian voices |
| Gemini Live | ₹3 | The fastest, most conversational replies |
Set a maximum length per call and a monthly limit of AI minutes, and get an alert when credits run low.
What you need
- A WhatsApp number on Trafficaro with calling switched on (one click on the Calls page)
- Meta enables calling for numbers with a messaging limit of at least 2,000 — numbers that have been sending with good quality reach it
- Your business details and, for bookings, your working hours or a connected calendar
Outbound calls — the agent calling a customer who has allowed calls, as Meta requires — are in beta.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Can customers really call a WhatsApp Business number?
Yes. Meta's WhatsApp Business Calling lets customers call a business number from the WhatsApp app, and lets the business answer through the API.
Which languages does it speak?
Hindi and English, including mixing the two the way callers do. It answers in the caller's language.
What if a call comes in when I have no credits?
The agent does not pick up; the call rings as usual and the caller gets your missed-call message. You are alerted before credits run that low.
Will it make things up?
It answers from the business details you give it and can only book the free times it was offered. Anything it cannot answer becomes a callback request.
Do I pay Meta for these calls?
Calls customers make to your number are free at Meta. Calls a business makes are charged by Meta per minute, separately.
