Payments

Ask for payment in the chat — and know the moment it is paid

Send a payment request your customer pays without leaving WhatsApp, or a payment link, and see paid, pending and failed payments in Trafficaro. Use it for orders, fees, consultations and booking deposits.

Two ways to get paid

Native WhatsApp payment requests

Link your Razorpay or PayU account to your WhatsApp Business Account in WhatsApp Manager, and Trafficaro sends order-details messages the customer pays inside WhatsApp, by UPI or card. Status comes back automatically.

Payment links

Create a payment link on your Razorpay account from the inbox and send it in the chat — for any amount, with a description. It works on every phone and every app.

Where businesses use it

  • Orders placed in the chat or from your catalog
  • Booking deposits — a slot is held until the deposit is paid, and released if it is not
  • Fees — tuition, subscriptions, consultations, with reminder flows for what is due
  • COD to prepaid — offer a link instead of cash on delivery

What it costs

Trafficaro does not charge a fee on payments. Your payment gateway charges its usual rates, and the message that carries the request is a normal message under your plan and Meta's pricing.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Which payment gateways work?

Native WhatsApp payment requests work with a Razorpay or PayU account linked to your WhatsApp Business Account. Payment links use Razorpay.

Does the money pass through Trafficaro?

No. Payments go to your own gateway account; Trafficaro only sends the request and records the status.

Can payment requests be automated?

Booking deposits are requested automatically by the appointment agent, and a payment-reminder flow follows up on dues. Agents send links from the inbox in two clicks.
