Everything a WhatsApp campaign needs

Templates with media

Text, image, video and PDF headers, buttons and personalised variables — written in Trafficaro and submitted to Meta for approval from the same screen.

Segments that mean something

Target by tags, custom fields, opt-in source or past behaviour, and save the segment for next time.

A/B tests

Split an audience between two versions and let the winner — by reads or clicks — go to the rest.

Scheduling and time zones

Schedule for later, send inside business hours, and spread large sends instead of firing them all at once.

Automatic follow-ups

Drip sequences send the next message days later, and stop for anyone who replied or opted out.

Reports beyond "sent"

Delivered, read, replied, clicked (with tracked links) and, on Growth and above, revenue attributed to the campaign.

Why opt-in is the whole game on WhatsApp

WhatsApp works as a marketing channel because people only get messages they agreed to. Meta watches blocks and reports closely: a campaign to a cold or bought list can lower your number's quality rating and cut the number of people you may message each day.

Trafficaro records where and when each contact opted in, gives you opt-in pages, website widgets and click-to-WhatsApp links to grow the list properly, honours STOP the moment it arrives, and checks every campaign against consent before it sends. A compliance preview tells you who will be skipped and why — before you spend anything.

From list to first campaign

1

Bring in contacts who opted in

Import a CSV with the opt-in source, or grow the list with an opt-in page, a website widget or click-to-WhatsApp ads.

2

Write and approve the template

Pick a category (marketing or utility), add media and buttons, and submit. Approval is usually quick.

3

Send, follow up, measure

Choose the segment, test two versions if you like, schedule, and watch reads, clicks and replies arrive in the inbox.

Campaigns that work well on WhatsApp

Festive and seasonal offers

Diwali, end-of-season sales and launches — with an image, a catalog item and a payment link in the same message.

Back-in-stock and price drops

Tell the people who asked, when it matters to them, instead of everyone.

Abandoned cart recovery

From Shopify or WooCommerce: a reminder with the cart, then a nudge, stopped automatically when they buy.

Webinar, event and admission reminders

Registration confirmed by chat, reminders before the day, and the link when it starts.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is bulk WhatsApp messaging allowed?

Yes, on the official API, to people who opted in, using templates Meta approved. Unofficial "bulk sender" tools that automate the normal app break WhatsApp's terms and get numbers banned.

How many people can I message a day?

Meta sets a daily limit on business-initiated messages for each business and raises it as quality stays high. Trafficaro shows delivery and read rates so you can keep quality up, and spreads large sends.

Can I send images, videos and PDFs?

Yes. Templates can carry an image, video or PDF header; Meta charges the same for a template whatever the media.

What happens when someone replies to a campaign?

The reply lands in the shared inbox with the campaign shown on the conversation, so an agent — or a chatbot — can take it from there.

Do you charge per contact?

No. Plans include a number of contacts and messages; beyond the messages it is a flat ₹0.05 each. Meta's message charge is separate and goes to Meta.
